I would suggest adding the Original Swiss Ranger Volcano Stove Set. It comes with Aluminum 15 Ounce Bottle with Cork Lid, Canteen Cup, and Stove $9.97 on cheaper than dirt. Completely self contained takes up no room in your pack and is great for a quick water boil. Also a pistol belt for easy carry of items like axe/knife. Look for an LC-2 belt. A quick look on ebay the LC-2 are going for $8.00 shipped. Also be on ebay and craigslist cherry-picking each night looking for the cheap/free stuff.
Dave I love your show I must of seen each episode a 100 times.I have a question to I set my snairs they go off and I keep on getting nothing any advise?
I have some wool blanket my gran dad had back in WW2, these wool blanket are heavy.and one them i he made a coat out of it. that I wear around. the weight of it is like wearing a shack of potatos.
@xXMATTanator99Xx absolutly!!! fellons can buy pellet rifles that are supersonic. ask how i know hint… there is no paper work to fill out in buying a .177 rifle mine shots 1200 feet per second sound is around like 770 i think i could be way off but i know 1200 is faster than sound and deadly to smallgame 22 pellet guns also avalable that can take down a hog w/a head shot seen ,it on here, many different weights and shaped pellets any time u change ammo u have to reset scope..
Great series of videos once again Dave! I’m lovin it jus made my bedroll with a few modifications. cant wait till we can get more vids like these and the old ones. Keep on trekkin
I KEEP DRY CAT FOOD AND DRY DOG FOOD IN MY PACK FOR BAIT FOR SMALL GAME. AND I HAVE GUTAR STINGS FOR MY SNARES. CHEAP AND EASY. MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE 2 BAGS AND ONLY WANT ONE. I HAVE LONG TERM GEAR NOT 3 OR 5 DAYS. SHIT GETS HEAVY. I SAVE THE DRYER LINT TO FOR FIRE VERY EAST
I would like to add something about the properties of good natural wool. The hairs of wool have a sulphur coating which causes it to cleanse itself. Woolen underwear is great when you are in colder climates and the best way to clean it is to simply hang out in the wind for a few hours and the smell will go away. Also when you have a good woolen shirt do not wash it too often because the quality will diminish. Personally I do this only two times a year.
@litematter well ok I understand in that case. we have bears and a lot of big moose around north finlinland forests too, and they can be scary some times
@roossi It actually depends on which state you live, in mine you don’t need a permit and don’t have to register anything except a concealed carry permit. I wear a .357 on my side whenever I bike, I’ve spotted 13+ bear and 2 cougar this year alone in my vehicle and from my house. I suprisingly live in a pretty populated mountain area to. Have yet to encouter anything while biking though thank god.

@Antondsh Don’t know much about guns and such but dude was an Army trained sniper. I’m guessing he’ll be ok.

Dave,
Estwing axes, hatchets and hammers are drop-forged from a single piece of steel, not tubing.

Awesome video.
Cause you can’t just get a Henry Survival Rifle and put that in your back pack and also get another gun to carry on hand.
My favorite survival dude….:)
