I would suggest adding the Original Swiss Ranger Volcano Stove Set. It comes with Aluminum 15 Ounce Bottle with Cork Lid, Canteen Cup, and Stove $9.97 on cheaper than dirt. Completely self contained takes up no room in your pack and is great for a quick water boil. Also a pistol belt for easy carry of items like axe/knife. Look for an LC-2 belt. A quick look on ebay the LC-2 are going for $8.00 shipped. Also be on ebay and craigslist cherry-picking each night looking for the cheap/free stuff.

    Dave,
Estwing axes, hatchets and hammers are drop-forged from a single piece of steel, not tubing.

I would like to add something about the properties of good natural wool. The hairs of wool have a sulphur coating which causes it to cleanse itself. Woolen underwear is great when you are in colder climates and the best way to clean it is to simply hang out in the wind for a few hours and the smell will go away. Also when you have a good woolen shirt do not wash it too often because the quality will diminish. Personally I do this only two times a year.

    Awesome video.

Cause you can’t just get a Henry Survival Rifle and put that in your back pack and also get another gun to carry on hand.

    My favorite survival dude….:)

  23. roossi says:

@litematter well ok I understand in that case. we have bears and a lot of big moose around north finlinland forests too, and they can be scary some times :D

  24. litematter says:

@roossi It actually depends on which state you live, in mine you don’t need a permit and don’t have to register anything except a concealed carry permit. I wear a .357 on my side whenever I bike, I’ve spotted 13+ bear and 2 cougar this year alone in my vehicle and from my house. I suprisingly live in a pretty populated mountain area to. Have yet to encouter anything while biking though thank god.
